SPU and our trusted partner, PromisePay, are reaching out to eligible customers through text messages and emails, inviting them to enroll in PromisePay. These messages are legitimate and designed to help you learn more about your options.
However, SPU and PromisePay will never ask for sensitive personal information such as your Social Security number or payment details through text or email.

Who is eligible?
Residential customers with an SPU account and a past-due balance of $100 or more are eligible to enroll in a PromisePay plan.
