Transfer Stations will Open at 10am on the First Wednesday of Each Month Starting July, 2021.
Beginning July, 2021, Seattle Public Utilities’ North & South Transfer Stations will implement new hours, opening at 10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. This change in hours once per month will to allow for employee development and staff meetings. All other days will maintain the same operating hours as before and be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Before you make a trip to our stations, please consider:
- DO NOT visit if you have a cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, sore muscles, or other COVID-like symptoms
- Be sure to have waste bagged and secured
- Practice physical distancing by keeping at least 6 feet of space on the floor
- Stay in your vehicle while waiting at our scales & pay with card to reduce exposure
