At each location, SPU will be providing supplies to pick up litter and stencil storm drains. There will also be snacks, and information about stormwater pollution, Adopt a Street and Adopt a Drain. Please come on out to help keep our communities clean and protect the Puget Sound.

Why a community clean up?

With busy streets and tens of thousands of storm drains, SPU partners with Seattlites to reduce potential water pollutants such as litter, chemical spills, car leaks, dog waste and more. If not cleaned up, these pollutants can be swept by rainfall into our water bodies, including Puget Sound. Keeping our water clean helps to protect salmon, orcas, and everyone who depends on our waters.
