You’re Invited: Our Water, Our Future

Seattle is fortunate to have drinking water that is among the best in the nation. But it takes all of us to protect and safeguard this valuable resource. To maintain its high quality and reliability, Seattle Public Utilities updates its strategic, long-term plan regarding its drinking water system every six years. Community members are invited to the public review meeting of the 2013 Water System Plan. In this plan we address many issues:

  • How are we ensuring high-quality water for the future?
  • How could climate change impact that outlook?
  • What is the right level of water conservation?
  • How much do we need to invest to maintain our pipes and other facilities?

Please join us at the public review meeting which is co-hosted by SPU’s Water System Advisory Committee.

Time: 4 pm – 6:00 pm

Date: Tuesday, April 17

Location: Bertha Knight Landes Room, Seattle City Hall
