Owls and Woodpeckers Class at Watershed

Join photographer Paul Bannick for a delightful slide presentation with both new images and photos from his book The Owl and the Woodpecker. Every wild place and urban area in North America hosts an owl or a woodpecker species, while healthy natural places often boast representatives of both. After the presentation Julie Stonefelt, Seattle Public Utilities’ naturalist, will lead the group to forested habitats inside the closed boundaries of the Cedar River Municipal Watershed. Bring water and a snack. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy hiking shoes.

When: Saturday, July 24; 9 am – 12 pm

Audience: Adults/Families (ages 10+)

Cost: $15
