2022 Winter Holiday Collection Schedule for Residential Solid Waste Customers

With the holiday season just around the corner, we wanted to share an important reminder to customers about our services.

Garbage, recycling, and food/yard waste will not be collected on the following upcoming holidays :

On those days, and for the remainder of the week, service will be delayed one day. For example, if your regular collection day is Thursday, November 24 (Thanksgiving), you should place your bins out on Friday, November 25. If your regular collection day is Friday, place your bins out on Saturday, November 26.

The City of Seattle’s North and South Transfer Stations will be closed on

  • Thursday, November 24th
  • Sunday, December 25th
  • Sunday, January 1st

Thank you for your patience as we see more inclement weather and navigate our holiday schedule.
