Spring Into Clean with SPU’s Adopt-A-Street

Spring Clean is Seattle Adopt a Street’s annual push to organize with community groups for one-time cleanup events. This citywide event is made up of neighborhood level groups who clean up their areas, streets, parks or local landmarks. In celebration of earth month, and the time of year when Seattleites can enjoy some fun in the sun (and rain), Spring Clean is a way to get the outdoor places where we live, work and play, ready for the change of season.

Getting involved in three easy steps:

  • Gather your group! It could be family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, anyone can join.
  • Pick a date to clean up together.
  • Register your group online and get supplies.

AAS staff will provide you with the necessary supplies for your clean up event and are even available to help you plan your event if you’d like. After your event, Adopt-A-Street staff will coordinate to collect your full litter bags.

Start setting up your Spring Clean event today! It’s a great way to take care of a place you love, connect with you neighbors, and make a difference for our environment.
