This year Earth Day falls on Friday, but events are not limited to one single day.
There are numerous events scheduled throughout Seattle, ranging from work parties to family nature classes. Here are a few events happening this weekend:
Friday, April 22
Earth Week on the Burke-Gilman Trail
Restoration work party at Burke-Gilman Trail from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Join University of Washington from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in making connections with the natural world that will last a lifetime! Through science-based exploration and outdoor play, preschoolers and their caregivers will experience the UW Botanic Gardens using their senses.
Saturday, April 23
Earth Day Celebration and Spring Clean-up
