State-of-the-art Freemont/Wallingford facility scheduled to open in 2016

NTSSeattle Public Utilities is getting ready to replace the city’s North Transfer Station (1350 North 34th Street) with a more modern and efficient facility that will meet the growing future needs of the city.

To prepare for the demolition and rebuild work, the station will close permanently, after 5:30 p.m. on January 20. A new North Transfer Station is expected to open on the same site, in 2016. To learn more about the North Transfer Station Rebuild Project, visit the project website at www.seattle.gov/util/NewNorth.
