DontFlushTroubleThere are lots of reminders everyday why we should be careful about what we wash down our drains and flush down our toilets.

Recently in London a 15-ton “fatberg” was removed from the local sewer system. The bus-sized obstruction was the result of improperly disposed of fats, oils, and grease from cooking and flushed disposable baby wipes.

Don’t Cause a Sewer Saga

Properly disposing of fats, oils, and grease from food preparation can prevent costly blockages and backups and sewage overflows on private and public property.

Many products on the store have labels that say “flushable,” but they are clogging our sewer lines and damaging pumps and other equipment. They belong in the trash!
