Friends of the Cedar River Watershed is a private, non-profit organization incorporated in 1996 and dedicated to the protection and restoration of the Cedar River Watershed, an ecological preserve that is the source of drinking water for more than a million greater Seattle area residents.
Seattle is one of only half a dozen cities its size in North America to use a protected wilderness to supply clean and affordable water.
