Go Green for St. Patrick’s Day

StPatsVolunteer to keep your watershed green with Friends of the Cedar River Watershed! The Cedar River is a valuable resource for our community; its headwaters are in an ecological forest preserve that provides clean drinking water for over one million residents, it supports numerous recreational activities year-round, as well as federally-listed threatened salmon populations. Sign up now!

When: Saturday, March 15, 10 am – 2 pm  

Where: Royal Arch Reach Natural Area

Volunteers will keep the watershed green and help improve wildlife habitat and water quality while restoring the Cedar River floodplain by planting native trees and shrubs and removing invasive plants.
